On 18 March, together with the Municipality of Mustasaari, the Eastern Mustasaari River Villages Association, and local residents, we held an ideation seminar on the topic of energy communities. More than 20 people attended, and we had lively discussions about the possibilities for establishing an energy community, energy production, and general preparedness.
Local energy self-sufficiency in Veikkaala and its surrounding area is a topic of great interest to many, especially in the current global situation. Together with local stakeholders, we will continue to advance this work and will also provide updates on the project’s progress on these pages.
